Ofe Nsala AKA White Soup (Afia Afere)

Ofe Nsala, also known as "White Soup" is a very popular soup from eastern Nigeria. The "white soup name is derived from the fact that it uses no oil.
This soup can be quite spicy and its highly recommended for cold days and for new mothers. There is an efik version called afia efere, the difference is the spices used.
Its popularly cooked with catfish but since that is not a preferred fish in my home I'll be passing on that today.
