Pear and Oatmeal Cinnamon Cookies

I love sweet treats and cookies are a family favorite. These days I'm always on the quest for healthier options of some of our favorite treats. Adding pear and oatmeal to this cookie simply means more fruit and fiber for the entire family. Who says we can't get them on the healthy eating trail early?

INGREDIENTS
2 Medium sized pears
Oat Meal, 160 grams
Sugar, 100 grams
Flour, 120 grams
Honey, 65ml
Cinnamon, 1Tbsp
Baking Powder, 1Tbsp
Butter, 110 Grams
Evaporated Milk, 30ml
Egg, 1 Whole

PREPARATION
Mix all listed ingredients in your mixing bowl using a wooden spatula or your hands if your preferred.

Line your Cookie pan with wax paper or butter and flour if you don't have wax paper. Using a table spoon,  scoop some batter and place on the sheet. Leave about an inch of space between each cookie as they will rise during baking.

In your preheated oven (preheated to 150c fan, Please use google to adjust to your oven setting e.g gas mark or fahrenheit) place the Cookie pan.
Bake for about 19 minutes or until its a light golden brown.

Delicious cookies are ready!!!! Serve with warm milk for the little ones and even the adults for a healthy treat. Can also be included in lunch boxes for the kids and parents.
