Homemade Coconut Milk... filled with nutrient and flavour

Every other day on our Facebook page, the question comes up...how do I make coconut milk? This home made coconut milk is refreshing and has all the nutrients intact with no additives.
It can be used for cereal, as a smoothie base, to cook coconut rice or for any recipe that requires coconut milk.

INGREDIENTS
3 Coconuts
Sieve
Hot Water
Cheese cloth (Cotton fabric)

*This produces up to ultras of Coconut milk

METHOD

This is a quick pictorial that doesn't need much explanation. Using Whatever method you know, Simply break the coconuts and bring out of the shells.

*Put a hole through one of the eyes, to extract the coconut water

*Use a hammer or which ever method you choice, to break the coconut  shell

*Take the coconuts out of the shell, then Cut up into small chunks

 *Rinse with cool water

*Blend in a food processor. If you don't have a food processor, blend with your blender using lots of water. (Make sure your blender is one with a decent wattage, I'd say about 400 watts and above so that you don't destroy it), or use a grater. After grater, pour the coconut into a large bowl.

*Add very hot water to the blend.

*Lay your cheesecloth or sieving fabric over the sieve and begin sieving. You can sieve directly

*Squeeze the fabric very tightly to release all the coconut cream..

*It should look like this...

Finally its ready.... very simple to make, what you do with it next is entirely up to you...... ENJOYYYYY
